This is an example of a typical Childminding Day These are only possible ideas due to weather and the children’s ages and stages of development.
7.00am – Preparing for children’s arrival.
8am – 8.45am – Arrivals, breakfast and play.
9.30am – 11.30am - Morning activity.
12.00pm – 1.00pm – Lunch.
1.00pm – 3.00pm – Lunchtime activity.
3.00pm – 3.30pm - School pick up from St Peters in Middleton
3.30pm – 4.30pm - Afternoon activity.
4.30pm – Teatime.
5.00pm onwards – TV or DVD until home time. |

Themes
We do theme days where we celebrate occasions within different cultures. We also learn about different shapes, colours and seasons |

Birthdays
We celebrate children's birthdays with a special birthday tea, gifts and cards made from myself and the other children. |

Day trips
We have day trips out to the zoo, monkey forest, theme parks, seaside, steam railway, model village plus many more…... |

Indoor activities
We draw, paint, colour, sing songs, read stories, play with sand and water, dance, build towers (knock them down) plus much more………. |

Outdoor activities
We splash in puddles, run and play in the park, have fun Olympics and other sports, skip, play with sand and water, play on the swing plus much more………...... |
